Varnam Restaurant

Varnam Restaurant is at No.Tc 14/488 on Nandavanam Road in Palayam. We are located right opposite the DCC Office, so we get a lot of people who work in government offices or are visiting them for business. Thiruvananthapuram is a city with a lot of history, and Palayam is right in the heart of it. Our restaurant is a straightforward place where you can come in and eat without any fuss. The 695034 area is always buzzing with activity, and the road outside can get pretty jammed during peak hours. We’ve got a routine that starts early in the morning, getting the kitchen fired up and the tables wiped down. It’s mostly local food we serve, nothing too complicated or fancy. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know how to handle the lunch hour when everyone comes in at the same time. Sometimes we have to move tables around to fit a larger group of office workers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the fans make a bit of noise, but it’s a comfortable enough spot. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just open the doors, cook the food, and hope people enjoy their meal. When the sun goes down and the offices close, things quiet down a bit, and we start cleaning up for the next day.
