You’ll find UP North Restaurant at No. 4, T N Samruddhi Chambers in Vazhuthacaud. We are across from the college. It’s a busy spot in Thiruvananthapuram, so there’s always a lot of students and office workers around. We aren't a big, fancy establishment with waiters in white gloves; it's just a simple place. The kitchen is small. Because of that, you might have to wait a bit if we get a big group in all at once. No marketing department wrote this for us. It was written just because people asked. Our team is made of local people who like food from up north. Sometimes we have trouble getting the right spices delivered. When that happens, we make do with what we have. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days it struggles. We don't mind much. We just keep the fans going. Most people who come here are regulars from the college or the theatre. We don't have a fancy website. We just open the doors in the morning and close them when the food runs out. It’s a basic way to run a business. It works for us here in Vazhuthacaud. We just hope you enjoy the meal and the casual vibe of the place. We try our best. It is simple.
