Purple Lounge

You can find us inside Hotel Safari on M G Road in Thiruvananthapuram. We’re right opposite Smv High School, so during the day we see all the students and parents walking by outside on the sidewalk. M G Road is always humming with activity, especially with the buses stopping nearby and the cars honking. Our lounge is a place where you can step away from all that heat and noise for a while. We’ve got some comfortable seating and the air conditioning usually works pretty well most of the time. It's a simple setup, nothing too extravagant or fancy. We mostly just focus on keeping the place tidy and making sure there’s enough ice in the bins for the drinks. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know how to handle the busy spells when they happen. Being in the 695001 area means we get all sorts of people, from travelers staying in the hotel to locals who just want a quiet corner to sit in. We don’t really go in for fancy decorations; we just have what we need to get through the day. Sometimes the elevator in the hotel is slow or breaks down, so people have to take the stairs to find us. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the glasses are polished.
