Opal Restaurant

Opal Restaurant is right here in the Ruby Arena Hotel on Kumarapuram Road. It's very close to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, so we see a lot of different people coming through. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now, serving folks who live nearby or those visiting the hospital for one reason or another. It isn’t some high-end, fancy place with lots of expensive decorations, but it stays pretty busy most days. Most people find us because they're staying upstairs at the hotel or just walking through this part of Thiruvananthapuram. The kitchen is always going from early on, and the staff usually recognizes the regulars who stop by for a quick bite. We get plenty of medical students and busy doctors too, since the college is just a short walk down the road. It gets quite noisy during the lunch rush, but that's just part of the daily routine here. We try to keep things straightforward and just focus on getting the food out. We don't really have a big corporate website or anything like that, just this physical spot in the hotel building. It’s a practical place for a meal. Sometimes things get a bit slow when we are completely packed, but we manage. People come back because it's convenient and they know what the deal is here.
