Nakshathra Restaurant

Our restaurant is situated in Nandanam Park on Nandavanam Road in Palayam. We are directly across from the A R Police Camp, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you are in that part of THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. It is a standard restaurant setup without any big bells and whistles. We open up the doors quite early and stay busy until the sun goes down. Sometimes the street noise from the traffic on Nandavanam Road can get a bit loud inside, but that is just how it is in this city. The people working here mostly live in the surrounding neighborhoods. We do not have a big corporate office or a management team. It is just a handful of us running the daily operations. People come in for a quick bite or sometimes to sit for a while and rest their feet. We try to keep everything as simple as we can. THIRUVANANTHAPURAM is usually quite warm, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day long. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or promotions. Most of our customers are regulars who work nearby or live in Palayam. We focus on getting the cooking done and making sure there are enough clean plates for the next group. It is an honest living for us. We just show up every morning and do the same routine. It is a basic place for anyone looking for food.
