Mammamia Restaurant

You can find Mammamia Restaurant at Tc 25/13886 on P subramaniam road. We are located right near the Sree Kumar theater here in Thiruvananthapuram. Being near a cinema means we get a lot of people coming in before or after their shows to grab something to eat. The restaurant is just a simple room with enough tables for a few families and some extra chairs. We don't have any big marketing budgets or fancy signs to attract attention. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming here since we first opened. We spend our days doing the same things over and over. We clean the tables, we cook the rice, and we wash the dishes ourselves. It is not an exciting life but it is our life and we are happy with it. The kitchen is small and sometimes we bump into each other when it gets busy in the evenings. We don't have any mission statements or fancy slogans to tell people. We just want the food to be decent and the service to be okay. Some of the chairs are a little old and the paint on the door is starting to chip away. We will probably paint it next year when we have more time and money. For now, we just focus on the cooking. It is a quiet street mostly, except when a movie lets out and people crowd the sidewalk. Most of the time we are just busy with the daily chores.
