We are located over at Yatri Nivas in Thycadu. It’s a pretty straightforward place to find once you are in the area. We handle the day-to-day running of the rooms and the grounds here. It isn't a high-pressure job, but there is always a list of things that need doing. One day it might be fixing a fan in a guest room, and the next day we might be out in the yard cutting back the bushes. We get a mix of people staying with us, mostly folks looking for a place that doesn't cost too much and is close to the center of things. The building has been here for a good while, and it shows its age in some spots, but we do our best to keep it clean. We have a routine for everything, from changing the linens to checking the guest register. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take the bus to work every morning. It’s a quiet part of the city compared to some other spots, which is nice. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. We just provide a room and a bed and a bit of space to sit outside. It’s a government-run spot, so we follow the rules and make sure the paperwork is done correctly. That’s just how we operate every day. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just keep the place running for the travelers.
