Hotel Seaweed (Seaside Resort)

We are located on Light House Road, and yes, the name Hotel Seaweed is a bit different. Some people laugh about it, but it sticks in your head. We are a seaside resort, though it’s more of a relaxed place than those big fancy ones you see in magazines. The walk up the road to the lighthouse is something almost everyone does. We’ve got a lot of trees around the property, so you get some shade, which is nice when the sun is really beating down. The rooms aren't huge, but they do the job. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the wind blows leaves and sand onto the porch. It’s just the way it goes when you’re this close to the water in 695521. We have a small kitchen where we make basic meals. Nothing too complicated, just stuff we know how to cook well. The staff are people from the village mostly. We aren't trained in big hotel schools; we just learned by doing it for years. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just bring out the candles or wait for the generator. It’s a slow pace of life here on Light House Road. We like it that way. Most of our guests seem to like it too, once they settle in and stop worrying about the time.
