City Queen

City Queen is located on Manjalikulam Road in the Thampanoor area of Thiruvananthapuram. Since we are so close to the main station and the bus stand, we see a lot of people moving through here with their bags and suitcases. This part of the city is always moving, and Manjalikulam Road stays busy from early morning until quite late at night. We have been running things here for a bit now, and it’s a very practical operation. We don’t spend time on fancy decorations or trying to look like something we aren't. Our day involves a lot of routine tasks like checking the registers, making sure the space is clean, and talking to the people who walk in off the street. Thiruvananthapuram can be very hot, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible for anyone coming inside. It’s not always easy to keep things quiet with all the buses and cars outside, but that’s just life in Thampanoor. We have a small staff and we all know what needs to be done without having to say it much. Most of our customers are locals or people who have just arrived in the city and need something quickly. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the doors, do the work that needs doing, and close up when the day is over. It’s just how we run the place.
