Chicken Express

You will find Chicken Express located in the Ebenezer Building over in Kesavadasapuram. We are in the Pattom area of Thiruvananthapuram, right across the road from Chaithanya Eye Hospital. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always something happening outside. Our shop is a modest one. We don’t have a lot of space, but we make the most of what we have. The daily routine starts with getting the fresh chicken delivered and prepping the kitchen. It’s a lot of manual work and we don’t have any fancy machines to do it for us. We have a small crew here, and we all know our roles. Some of us stay in the kitchen while others handle the customers at the counter. A lot of people from the hospital or the nearby offices come by for a quick lunch. In the evenings, it gets even busier with people picking up food on their way home. The traffic in Pattom can be quite a mess at times, which sometimes slows things down, but we just keep going. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just rely on being in a good spot and doing our work every day. It is an honest living and we are happy to be part of the community here. We just take things as they come and try to stay busy.
