Chemmeen seafood village

Chemmeen seafood village is situated right at the Thiruvallam Junction, just on the bypass road. If you are coming this way, you can’t miss us because we are directly opposite Lions Bhavan. It’s a busy spot in Thiruvananthapuram, especially during the hours when people are commuting. We chose this location because the bypass brings in a lot of different people. The building isn't anything too modern, but it serves its purpose for a seafood place. We spend a lot of time sourcing the fish and making sure everything is handled properly before the lunch rush starts. It can get a bit hectic when the junction is backed up with cars, but inside we just keep our heads down and work. We don't use any complicated systems, just the way we learned over the years. Some days are better than others, depending on what we get from the market. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where the staff knows most of the regular faces. People from the neighborhood stop by, and we appreciate that. It takes a lot of effort to keep a restaurant going in this heat, but we are used to it by now. The Lions Bhavan landmark helps a lot when we have to give directions over the phone. It’s a simple life here on the bypass and we wouldn't have it any other way.
