You can find us over at Plot No.33-37 in the Kinfra Small Industries Park in Thumba. Having those few plots gives us enough room to move our solar panels and equipment around without bumping into each other too much. Working with solar energy means we are always looking at the sky, I guess. Most of our day is spent in the warehouse area, checking batteries or assembling frames. Thumba is a bit out of the way, which we actually like because it is quieter than the main city parts. The air is a bit fresher too. We are a small group of people who just know a lot about how to set these systems up. It’s not a shiny office with leather chairs. We have some old metal desks and a lot of technical manuals stacked up in the corners. Sometimes we get a bit of sand blowing in from the coast, so we are always cleaning the glass on the panels. We don't have any scripted sales pitches. Usually, people just come by because they heard we know what we are doing with solar setups. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving heavy stuff or testing out the connections. It’s a simple life, and we get a lot of satisfaction from seeing a project actually start producing power. We’ve been here at Kinfra for a good while and it feels like home now. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so we all look out for each other. It’s a decent community to be part of.
