Tirupati Imports

Tirupati Imports is located over in Udhna, specifically in the Kondhwa Khurd area at number 3. It’s mostly a warehouse-style setup because that is what you need when you are bringing things in from all over. The space is filled with crates and heavy pallets, and there is always that smell of cardboard and packing tape in the air. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the computer to see where a particular shipment has ended up. It’s a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing around when the trucks finally arrive. The traffic in Udhna can be a nightmare, so we’ve learned to plan our days around the busiest times. We aren't a big company with a fancy lobby. Most people who come here are delivery drivers or folks looking for specific parts. The office part of the building is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood. It gets pretty loud when the loading is happening, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we know the ins and outs of the local regulations and the paperwork involved. It’s not the kind of job that looks good in a brochure, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to double-check every single box in a container. It's tedious, but it's part of the day. We usually grab lunch at the stall nearby.
