Our facility is located at A-22/1 in the Ichchapore G.I.D.C area. It’s out near Bhatpore, along the Hazira Magdalla Road. Being in a G.I.D.C means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories. We handle fresh foods, so our day usually starts much earlier than most people would like. While the rest of the city is still sleeping, we’re already moving crates and checking temperatures. The humidity around here can be tough, especially in the summer, but we’ve got our systems to deal with it. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and loading. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a decorated lobby. We spend our money on the equipment and keeping the place clean. The trucks coming in and out of Bhatpore can be a mess, but we manage the schedule. Most of us have worked here for years and we’ve become a bit of a family. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to make sure the food we process is handled right and gets to where it’s going on time. It’s a simple business but it requires a lot of attention. If we miss one detail, it messes up the whole day. So we stay focused and keep moving. That’s how we’ve always done it.
