If you are looking for Maa Krupa Flour Mill, we are at Shop No. 06 in the Divyam Apartment. It is right opposite the Bhagyalaxmi Society in Jahangir Pura, over in the Dahin Nagar area. Being in an apartment building means we are part of the local community. We have neighbors living right above us, so we try not to start the loudest machines too early in the morning. The shop is narrow and we have to stack the bags of grain carefully so there is still a path to walk. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger, though it usually has a bit of dust on the cover. The walls are painted a light color, but they have turned a bit yellowish over time. People from Bhagyalaxmi Society come over with their wheat and corn, and we talk about the weather or the local news while the mill runs. It is a steady life. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how people find out we are here in the apartment block. Sometimes the children from the building peek in to see the machines spinning. We just keep our heads down and do the grinding. It is a small shop, but it keeps us busy from one end of the week to the other. Most of the people around here are like family to us after all these years of grinding grain.
