Bherunath Flour Mill

Our mill is located at House No. 195 on Ugat Road. We are tucked behind Ramnagar, in the area where Ambika Nagar, Jahangirabad, and Sima Nagar all kind of meet. It’s a residential neighborhood, so Bherunath Flour Mill feels more like a part of the community than a big business. We operate out of a small space, and there’s usually a line of people waiting with their bags of wheat or corn. The sound of the grinder is something the neighbors have probably gotten used to by now. It’s pretty dusty inside, which is just how flour mills are. We spend most of our time keeping the machines running and weighing out the flour. It’s not a complicated job, but it requires being careful. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People just know us because we’ve been here at House No. 195 for so long. Sometimes kids from the neighborhood run past and wave, or the older folks stop to talk about the weather. It’s a friendly place. The work is hard on the back, lifting those heavy sacks all day, but we don’t mind. We just keep the mill going from morning until evening. It’s nice being in a spot where you know almost everyone who walks through the door. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just grind the grain and keep things moving for the families living around here.
