We are located in Kalanwali at Mandi Kalanwali. If you know the area, we’re right near the railway crossing. You can usually hear the trains going by throughout the day which is something you just get used to after a while. The shop is a local spot and we’ve been here long enough that most people in town know where to find us. It’s not a big city setup. Things move a bit slower around here compared to the bigger towns. We open up early and usually spend some time cleaning the dust off the counters. Being near the crossing means there’s often a bit of a wait for cars when the gates are down, so people sometimes stop in while they’re waiting. It’s a simple shop with shelves lining the walls. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors who need a bit of help with their gadgets. It gets dusty because of the road, so there is always a bit of sweeping to do. We like it here though. It’s a familiar place and the people are friendly. There’s a certain rhythm to life by the tracks. We just do our thing and help out whoever comes through the door. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it more than what it is. We are just here doing our bit every day.
