Our place sits right on the Hissar Road in Moriwala, near the 10 Mile Store. If you are driving through Sirsa, you probably saw the sign. It is a village area, so things are a bit slower here than in the big cities. We have a good amount of space because we are out on the highway. Most of our day is spent watching cars and trucks go by toward Hissar or back towards the main town. The building has that traditional look people expect in Haryana, though we are always repainting sections where the sun fades the colors. We have a lot of local guys from the village who stop in for a chat or a glass of water. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are constantly dusting the furniture. It is a bit of a battle. My uncle handles most of the supplies and he is picky about where the grain comes from. We have some outdoor seating which is nice when the weather isn't too hot, but mostly people want to be inside. Sometimes the cows wander too close to the front door and we have to shoo them away so guests can get inside. It is a simple life out here on the road.
