Seventh Day Adventist School

You’ll find the Seventh Day Adventist School at 4/25, Kalaignar Nagar in the Karungalpatty area of Gugai. It’s a busy little neighborhood with houses packed close together. We’ve been part of this community for years. The school is right in the thick of things. You can hear the neighbors talking and the usual street sounds from our classrooms. It’s not a huge campus, just a practical building that serves the local families. We have students coming from all over the Gugai area. The staff knows most of the parents by sight. We don't have a big budget for fancy decorations, so we just keep things clean and tidy. The hallways are a bit narrow, and the stairs get a lot of use every day. We spend our mornings getting the kids settled into their seats. It’s a regular school day with the usual mix of math, reading, and playtime. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just carry on with the windows open for light. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place around. We just want to provide a decent place for the kids to learn their lessons. Most of our furniture has been around for a long time. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the kids focused on their work.
