Csi Higher Secondary School

If you go to the Fort area in Salem, you will find us on Nedunjalai Road. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history. The school building has been standing there for a long time, and you can see it in the way the walls look. We have a lot of students, especially since we have the higher secondary classes too. The mornings on Nedunjalai Road are always crowded with students in their uniforms. We have a big gate that stays open until the bell rings. The classrooms are large, and they have those old-style windows that let in a bit of a breeze. Salem is a very hot city, so we really need that air. We don't have anything polished or corporate about us. The benches are a bit old, and the floors are worn down from so many feet walking on them over the years. We just focus on the syllabus and making sure the students are ready for their public exams. There is a small space for sports, but it’s nothing fancy. The teachers are local people who have been with us for years. We don’t spend money on advertising. People in Salem know us because their fathers or grandfathers might have come here. It is just a practical place for education, nothing more and nothing less.
