First Crop International Montessori School

We are located at No 62 on Narayanan Street, which is in the Peramanur part of Salem. It’s a pretty quiet street most of the time, except for when school starts and ends. First Crop International Montessori School is set up in a building that feels more like a home than a big institution. We have small chairs and low tables because everything is meant for the little ones who come here. Salem gets very hot, so we have plenty of water pots around and the fans are always spinning. The floor is usually covered in blocks or colorful mats where the kids do their work. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; things happen at the pace of the children. The neighbors on Narayanan Street are used to the sound of singing coming from our windows. We have a small yard where the kids can run around, though it’s not huge. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We know the parents by name and often chat at the gate about the weather or local news. It’s a very grounded place. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just a sign on the gate and a lot of daily activity inside. It is a simple, honest way to run a school.
