Kamarajar Matric Hr Sec School

If you go to Gangavalli in Salem, you’ll find us in Thedavoor at Kamarajar Nagar. The school is called Kamarajar Matric Hr Sec School. It’s a pretty large building because we have students all the way up to higher secondary. That means we have the older teenagers around as well as the younger ones. The campus stays busy from morning until late afternoon. There are always people moving through the hallways or sitting out under the trees. Thedavoor is a decent place to be, and we are right there in the middle of the community. We have different sections for different subjects. It can get a bit loud during the breaks when everyone is outside at the same time. We don't really have a lot of bells and whistles, just a solid place for students to study. The teachers here have been around for a long time. They know the families and the history of the area. We see a lot of students graduate and move on to college in Salem or elsewhere. It’s a bit of a routine, but it’s a good one. We just keep things running day by day. Sometimes there’s a lot of paperwork to deal with, but that’s just how running a school goes. We are just a local institution trying to do a fair job for the people in Kamarajar Nagar.
