Down over in Kondalampatti, you will find Sri Vidya Mandir Hgher Secondary School. We are located right at No 23 A on the Sangagiri Main Road, where the Calicut Main Road also meets. It is a spot that almost everyone in this part of Salem knows because of how much traffic goes through here. The school sits right in the middle of all that activity. We have the older kids here, mostly focusing on their higher secondary years. The building has several floors and a lot of stairs that the students are always running up and down. It gets quite loud during the change of classes, but that is to be expected. Our staff room is usually crowded with notebooks waiting to be corrected. There isn't much secret to how we run things; we just follow the schedule and make sure the bells ring on time. The windows look out over the main road, so there is always a bit of a breeze and some city noise coming in. We have a small area out front where the cycles are parked in long rows. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, but we manage. It is a straightforward place for learning without any extra frills. People from around Sangagiri and the nearby streets send their kids here because it is convenient and we have been here for a long time now.
