Park Public School

Park Public School is located right in Vinayaka Gardens over in Periyapatti. It is not one of those massive buildings you see in the city, but it works fine for the families around here. Most mornings, you can see the students walking through the gates while the sun is still coming up. We have a few trees in the yard that give a bit of shade when it gets really hot in the afternoons. The classrooms are pretty simple with the usual desks and blackboards that have been there for years. Sometimes the dust from the street blows in if the windows are open, but we just wipe things down and keep going with the lessons. The staff mostly live nearby, so everyone tends to know each other’s names. We don’t have fancy lunchrooms, so the kids usually eat their tiffins out on the benches or in the shade of the main building. It gets a bit noisy during the break times, but that is just how a school should be. The bell rings at the end of every period and you can hear it all the way down the block. We focus on the daily work and making sure the kids stay on track with their books. It is a very normal, local place where people come to learn and then head home to their families in Periyapatti once the final bell rings for the day.
