On Time Caterers

On Time Caterers is found at No 126/33 on Sivanar Street No 3. We are positioned right opposite the Gugai Telephone Exchange in the Gugai area of Salem. Our name kind of says what we try to do, which is just getting things done when they are supposed to be done. The kitchen is always moving, especially in the early hours of the morning when we are prepping for the day's orders. Gugai is a lively part of town, and being near the telephone exchange makes it easy for people to locate us. We don't spend money on fancy offices; our resources go into the kitchen equipment and the ingredients we buy from the local markets. It’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and packing boxes most of the time. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for years. We don't have a polished corporate image or a dedicated sales team. Most of our work comes from neighbors and local businesses who have eaten our food before. It gets a bit noisy on Sivanar Street, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the recipes we know and making sure the containers are sealed tight before they go out for delivery. It’s a basic operation, run by people who just want to do a decent day's work. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the job as requested.
