Food Tree

Food Tree is on the ground floor of the Kanaga Meenakshi Complex in Salem. We’re right in the Fair Lands area, across from the road that leads to Saradha College. It’s a good spot because there’s always something happening in Krishnammal Nagar. We see a lot of students and teachers, along with people doing their shopping. The complex is usually buzzing with activity. We started this place because we liked the idea of having a small shop in Fair Lands. It’s not a huge restaurant with waiters in suits. It’s more of a casual place where you can just sit down for a bit. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure everything is ready before the lunch rush hits. Salem can get quite warm, so we try to keep the shop feeling fresh. We get our supplies from the local vendors nearby, which helps keep things moving. Sometimes the traffic on Saradha College Road makes it hard for deliveries to reach us on time, but we make it work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a decent meal to the people in 636016. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We’ve been here a while and hope to stay for more years. It's just about getting through the day and doing a decent job.
