National Matric Higher Secondary School is located in Anayampatti, specifically in the Gangavalli Block. It is a bit out of the way for some, but for the folks in Gangavalli Block, we are right where they need us. The school is a simple building that has grown over time as more people moved into the area. Anayampatti is a quiet place for the most part, which suits a school perfectly. We don’t have a lot of modern technology or flashy gadgets. We stick to the things that work, like textbooks and notebooks and a lot of writing on the board. The teachers here are hard workers. They don't look for praise; they just get on with the job of teaching the children. The school day starts early when the sun is still low. You’ll see the kids walking in from the nearby houses or getting off the local transport. We have a bit of a yard where they can play, though it’s mostly just dirt and some grass. It’s a humble place, to be honest. We don’t pretend to be an elite institution. We are just a matric school in a rural block trying to do right by the families who trust us with their children. It’s a straightforward life here in Anayampatti, and our school reflects that. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the classrooms in good shape.
