Vijaya Travel & Related Services

Our office for Vijaya Travel & Related Services is located at No 20, Calve Subburaya Chetty Street in Pondicherry. We are quite close to the Aurobindo Ashram, which is a very quiet and peaceful part of the 605001 area. Most mornings, the street is pretty calm before the visitors start arriving. We spend a lot of our time sitting at our desks, handling the paperwork and talking to people who come through the door. The building itself is an older one, typical for this part of town. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, just the essentials we need to get through the day. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but that’s just how things go around here. We know the other shopkeepers on Calve Subburaya Chetty Street, and we often say hello when we are heading out for lunch. Being near the Ashram means we get a mix of locals and people from far away walking past our window. It makes the day interesting to see who is around. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just show up, do our jobs at Vijaya Travel & Related Services, and go home when the sun starts to set. It is a decent place to work, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of this specific neighborhood over the years. We keep the space tidy, but it is definitely a lived-in office.
