Sri Ranga Travels

Sri Ranga Travels is based out of the Lawspet area in Pondicherry. Our office is located at Plot No 2 on 1st Main Road. If you know the Kumaran Nagar Extension part of town, we are right in that section. It is a small, simple office with a couple of desks and a lot of maps and calendars pinned to the walls. Mostly, we spend our day on the phone or talking to people who walk in wanting to go somewhere. Pondicherry can get quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always running. We have a few cars and drivers that we manage for different trips. People usually come to us when they need to get to the airport or if they want to take a family trip out of the city for a few days. It gets really busy during the festival seasons and the long holidays. Sometimes the internet connection is a bit slow and we have to write everything down in the big ledger books by hand. We have been in this same spot for a while now, so most of the neighbors know who we are. It is not a corporate office with glass walls or shiny furniture. It is just a place to book a taxi or plan a travel route. We try to keep the cars clean and make sure the drivers show up on time. Usually, there is someone here from early morning until late evening.
