Our shop is located at 257 Anna Salai, which is one of the busiest roads you’ll ever see. We have been dealing with bearings here for a long time, and the place definitely shows it. There is a bit of grease on the counters and the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of all sizes. When you step inside from the heat of Anna Salai, it takes a second for your eyes to adjust to the dim light. We spend our days identifying parts and helping people find exactly what they need for their machinery. It’s a lot of manual looking through catalogs and checking the stock in the back room. The noise from the traffic outside never really stops, so we have to talk a bit louder to be heard over the buses and cars. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here. Our staff has been around for years and they know the inventory better than anyone. We keep a pot of tea going and there is usually a newspaper spread out on the counter during the quiet moments. It’s a simple, honest business. We don't go in for big displays or sales pitches. We just sell bearings to the people who need them and try to keep things moving. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
