You will find Samira Voyages at No 665 on Mahatma Gandhi Road. We are very close to the railway station, which is handy for people coming into Pondicherry by train who need to figure out their next move. The office is right in the thick of things on MG Road, so there is always a lot of noise from horns and people walking by. It’s a small, practical space where we handle all our travel bookings. We don't have any fancy decorations or marketing posters plastered everywhere. We just have what we need to get the job done, like our computers and a few notebooks for keeping track of everything. Since we are so near the station, we get a lot of people wandering in looking a bit lost, and we do our best to help them get where they need to go. It’s a busy life, especially during the tourist season when everyone is on the move. We don’t have a big corporate structure; it’s just a few of us here every day. We take turns answering the phone and dealing with the paperwork. It can get a bit dusty with the road right there, but we keep the place tidy enough. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks of running a travel desk and making sure everyone’s bookings are confirmed and ready for their departure.
