P T Travel Service is tucked away in the Church Complex on Mission Street. We are on the ground floor, at No 200, which makes it easy for people to just walk in without having to deal with stairs. If you’re looking for us, we are quite close to the Focus Book Shop. Mission Street is always moving, with bikes and cars everywhere, but once you step inside the complex, it’s a bit different. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at computer screens, trying to figure out bus schedules or train tickets for folks. It’s not always easy because things change fast in the travel world, and sometimes the internet is slow. But we’ve been doing this long enough to know the shortcuts and how to get things sorted. We handle a lot of different requests, from local trips around Pondicherry to people going much further away. The office isn't big, just some desks and chairs and a few maps pinned up. It feels like a real workplace, not a showroom. We know most of the other shop owners around here too. Dealing with travel means dealing with people’s plans and sometimes their stress, so we just try to keep things simple. If you need to go somewhere and don't want to mess with a bunch of websites yourself, you can just come by the office and we will talk about it.
