Jungle Book Montessori School

Jungle Book Montessori School is tucked away on Bharathiar Street in Lawspet. It’s at number 95. If you know Pondicherry, you know Lawspet is a bit quieter than the main town area, which is nice for a school. The building has that local feel to it. It’s not one of those massive international school campuses you see in magazines. It’s more like a home that turned into a place for kids. Every morning, the street gets a bit crowded with parents dropping off their little ones. You hear a lot of noise, mostly laughing or kids crying because they don't want to leave their moms yet. We spend our time making sure things are tidy, though with kids, that’s almost impossible. Bharathiar Street has its own rhythm. The address is 605008, just in case you're trying to find us. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing. We’re just local people running a Montessori. To be honest, sometimes the paint on the walls gets scuffed and the gate squeaks a bit when you open it. But it feels right for the neighborhood. Lawspet has a lot of families, so we fit right in. We’re just doing our thing here at number 95. It’s a simple life, mostly focused on the daily routine of the school and making sure the gate is locked at the right times. We're just a small part of this street, and we like it that way. It works for us.
