Our place is on Anna Salai, right at number 2A. If you know where Anandha Inn is in Pondicherry, we are just a short walk from there. We run both a bar and a restaurant, so things stay pretty busy from the afternoon until late at night. The 605001 area is a good spot to be. We get a mix of people coming in. Some just want a drink after work, while others bring their families for dinner. It's a casual environment. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know how to handle the weekend crowds. Pondicherry weather can be quite humid, so the cold drinks are popular. We keep the fridge stocked and the kitchen moving. It isn't always quiet here; there is usually some chatter and the sound of glasses clinking. We've got different sections for people who want different things. Sometimes the traffic on Anna Salai is loud, but once you are inside, it’s okay. We just go about our business every day. Cleaning the tables, taking orders, and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. It is just a local spot for locals and maybe a few visitors who wander over from the nearby inns. Nothing more to it than that. We usually close up late and then do it all again the next day. The lights outside help people find us in the evening.
