Globus Travels

Our office is situated right in the Mosque Complex over in Thattanchavadi. If you know the area in Pondicherry, you know it gets pretty hectic around the Muruga Theatre signal, especially during the morning rush. Globus Travels isn't some big corporate headquarters, it is just a small, functional room where we handle bookings. You can usually find us tucked away near Pakkamudayanpet. Most days are the same, just sitting at the desk and dealing with whatever travel questions people have when they walk in. It's a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while, I guess. The building itself is older, and we have been here long enough that most of the shopkeepers nearby know us. Sometimes people get lost looking for the Mosque Complex, so we tell them to look for the theatre first. It’s a very local vibe here. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some chairs, a couple of desks, and a lot of paper. In the afternoons, when it gets hot, the ceiling fan just moves the warm air around, but we stay busy regardless. We handle a lot of local folks going on short trips or visiting family. It’s just a regular job in a regular part of town. We open up in the morning, do the work, and close when the street starts to quiet down a little. That's about it really.
