Glc Tours & Travels is right on Maraimalai Adigal Salai, specifically at number 156. We are very close to Hotel Mass, which is a big landmark in this part of Pondicherry. The road is always busy because it’s a main artery for the city. You can hear the buses and horns all day long from our front door, which can be annoying but that's just city life. The office is pretty small and basic. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for when people come in to talk about their trips. It’s mostly just us working through bookings and checking on vehicle availability. Because we are so central, there’s always something happening outside. We get a lot of walk-in traffic from people who are staying at the hotels nearby or just passing through the 605001 zip code area. It can get dusty being so close to the main road, so we are always cleaning the glass. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routes well enough. The interior of the shop is nothing special, just white walls and some old calendars. We drink a lot of coffee from the place next door while we wait for the phones to ring. It’s a very practical way to spend the day. We’ve been here at this address for a good bit of time, and it feels like home to us now. It's just a regular office.
