Fun Restaurant

Our place, Fun Restaurant, is located inside the Dune Eco Village Beach Resort. It’s out near Pudhukuppam and Keelputhupet, right via Pondicherry University. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, but that’s what makes it nice and quiet. We’ve got the beach right there, which is a big plus. We started this restaurant because we wanted to offer something simple to the people staying at the resort and those visiting the university area. It’s not a formal place at all. You can come in with sand on your feet and nobody will mind. We focus on basic, good food that fills you up. The breeze from the ocean keeps the place cool most of the time, so we don't need much air conditioning. We aren't fancy chefs with big hats; we're just people who enjoy cooking and being by the water. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the resort is full, but we hope people understand we're doing our best. It’s a peaceful spot to sit for a while and just watch the waves. We see a lot of students from the university and tourists looking for a quiet meal. It’s a pretty simple setup with tables and chairs under the shade.
