Fourty One Degree Restaurant

We are located right on Bussy Street in Puducherry, not too far from the old law college. It gets pretty busy around here during the day, especially with people walking by heading towards the town center. Fourty One Degree Restaurant started because we wanted a place where people could just sit and have a meal without too much fuss. Most mornings, we are here early getting the kitchen ready and making sure the tables are wiped down. The name comes from the heat we sometimes get here, which can feel quite intense in the summer months. Being near the Puducherry H O means we see a lot of different people coming in, from office workers to students. It’s a simple setup we have at No 21. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily chores, checking the supplies, and talking to the regulars who stop by for their usual lunch. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and horns, but inside we try to keep things steady. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular spot where the food is ready when you’re hungry. Sometimes the fans don't move the air fast enough, but that's just how it is in Pondicherry. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know most of the shopkeepers on the block. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making sure the plates are clean and the stove is hot.
