Energy Home Natural Health Food Restaurant & Health Shop

Energy Home is at No 35 A, on Chetty Street in Pondicherry. We are pretty close to the Arvind Ashramam, which means a lot of people walk past our doors every day. We have the restaurant part where we serve food and a health shop too. It’s a bit of a mix. We focus on natural stuff, mostly because that’s what we’ve always done. The shop has various health foods on the shelves and we try to keep them stocked up. It’s a simple place. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some wooden tables and chairs for people to sit. Pondicherry gets hot, so we have fans going. The street outside is usually full of scooters and people going to the Ashram. Inside, we just get on with our work in the kitchen and at the counter. Sometimes we run out of certain items in the shop because the suppliers are late, but that’s just how it goes here. We have a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who come in for their daily things. It’s nice to see the same faces. No 35 A is an old building, but it works for what we need. We don't use a lot of oil or heavy spices in the kitchen. If you're walking from the main areas, it’s not hard to find us. We just keep things practical and serve what we have ready for the day without making a big deal out of it.
