Chettinad Home

Chettinad Home is situated right on Eswaran Koil Street in Pondicherry. The address is Number 71, and we are right in the middle of the Pondicherry Bazaar area. It’s a lively part of town, always filled with people going about their shopping and tourists walking around the old streets. We’ve been here for some time, and the building itself has that classic Pondicherry feel that you find in this neighborhood. We don’t try to be anything fancy or high-end. It’s more about having a place that feels like home, which is why we picked the name. Most days, we are busy keeping the place tidy and making sure everything is running the way it should. Eswaran Koil Street is a nice place to be, with the temple nearby and all the small shops lined up. We get a mix of people coming in, from locals who live just a few blocks away to travelers looking for a bit of a break from the sun. The weather here can get quite warm, so we try to keep things comfortable inside. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working together to keep the doors open and the atmosphere relaxed. If you are ever wandering around the bazaar looking for Number 71, you will find us there.
