Vishnu Carpets

Our shop is located right on the main G. T. Road, directly opposite Swastika No 1. If you know this stretch of road, you definitely know how loud and hectic it gets with all the trucks and buses zooming past us all day and night. We have got carpets stacked up in almost every corner inside the building. It is a good spot because people can easily see our sign from the road, even if finding a place to park is a bit of a gamble most days. We handle a lot of different rugs, mostly the kind of stuff people want to put in their living rooms at home. The air inside is always filled with the constant hum and honking of the highway traffic. We spend a good portion of our time moving these heavy rolls around just to show a customer a specific color or pattern. It is very physical work and our backs usually ache by the time we finally close up for the evening. We do not have a website or any of those modern things, just the old sign out front and the word of people who have bought from us before. Sometimes we just sit outside on a little wooden stool when it is not too dusty to watch the traffic go by. The building is getting a bit old now but it still holds the weight of the carpets just fine. We keep things very simple here. There is just a small desk and some tea.
