Gopal sweets & Restaurant

Gopal sweets & Restaurant is at shop number 148/4 in the Mittal Bhawan building. We are located right in the heart of Pachranga Bazar in Panipat. If you know the area, you know how busy the Pachranga Bazar chowk gets with all the cycles and people walking by every minute. Our shop is quite small but we have a restaurant section where people sit down. It gets a bit cramped when the lunch rush starts and the smell of frying oil fills up the whole place. We start our work long before the sun is even up to get things ready for the morning customers. The glass counters usually have stacks of different sweets and we spend a lot of time wiping away the smudges that kids leave on them. The floor is old tiles and we have to scrub it pretty hard at the end of every day. Panipat gets really cold in the winter and that is when we sell the most hot snacks. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing the cooking and serving. Sometimes the orders get mixed up when it’s loud, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s a plain place with simple tables and chairs. People mostly come in because they are already shopping in the bazar and need a quick bite to eat before they head back home with their bags.
