If you’re driving along National Highway-1 near Panipat, you’ll find us situated inside the Hive Hotel on Karnal Road. Being right on such a major highway means we see a lot of people who are just passing through on long trips between cities. Some of them are tired from driving for six or seven hours and just want a quiet place to sit down for a bit. The restaurant isn't too complicated in its layout. We have a set of tables and a kitchen that stays pretty busy, especially during the early breakfast and late dinner hours. The sound of the heavy truck traffic from NH-1 is always there in the background, though it’s much quieter once you’re actually inside the building. We get a lot of business travelers and families on road trips stopping by. The staff knows the drill—get the water out fast and take the orders before people lose their patience from the road weariness. We don't really do much in the way of fancy plating or anything like that. The main goal is just to have a decent, honest meal ready for someone who’s been stuck in a car or a bus all day. The hotel lobby is right next door, so there's always a bit of movement and people checking in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a tour bus stops nearby, but mostly it's just a steady stream of folks coming and going.
