70 Mile Stone Dhaba & Restaurant

We are located right on the G T Road at the 70 mile stone mark. This is in the Patti Kalyana area of Samalkha, right in Panipat. If you are driving on NH 1, you can't really miss us. We are directly opposite the Gandhi Samark. This dhaba was started because this highway is always full of people who need a break. Whether you are driving a truck or a car with your family, you need a place to sit down for a bit. We keep things very simple here. We have a tandoor that we keep going for most of the day and night. Our menu isn't long but it has the staples people expect on the highway like dal, sabzi, and fresh rotis. The atmosphere is just what you'd expect from a roadside spot. It is a bit dusty from the road and noisy from the trucks, but it is honest. We have plenty of room for parking in the front. We don't have a fancy team of managers. It is just a few of us making sure the food is hot and the tea is strong. The weather on the NH 1 changes a lot. In winter, the fog is so thick you can barely see the road, so we stay open for people to wait it out. In the summer, the heat is intense. We just keep doing our work. We aren't looking to be the biggest place on the road, just a reliable one.
