Gold Rush

We’ve been part of this hotel setup for a while now. Gold Rush is basically our little spot here. We aren't some high-end lounge from a big city. It’s a place for travelers and locals to stop by. The traffic outside never really stops, so we see people at all hours. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We don't use polished language or have a big corporate handbook to follow. We just know what needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which is just part of life on the G.T. Road. We keep things pretty simple. If you're driving long distance and need a break, we are right there on the main road. It's easy to pull in and easy to leave. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People usually just see the sign from the road and pull over. We try to keep the place tidy and the atmosphere is generally relaxed. It's an honest living. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just a local spot on a very long road. Most days are fine, some are hectic, but we manage. That is how it goes.
