United Overseas

We’ve been here at 676-R in Model Town for quite a while now. Most people know the spot because it’s near the main market area, but tucked away enough that it stays quiet most mornings. Our office is just a regular place with desks and a lot of paper. We started United Overseas without much of a plan other than getting work done and making sure things moved from one place to another. It gets pretty busy around here in the afternoons. Someone is always on the phone or checking a list. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just us sitting around the table trying to figure out the next shipment or talking to the drivers. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's a local operation. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea down the street. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our building stays pretty much the same. We have a few old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving. If you come by, you’ll probably see a stack of boxes near the door because there’s always something coming or going. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks. It’s more about making sure the orders are correct and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do that day.
