New Phozi Halchal Dhaba

Our dhaba is located out in Panipat, near the toll plaza in the village of Dahar. We are right on Hartari Road. Because we are near the toll plaza, we get a lot of truck drivers and people traveling long distances. It’s a dusty spot on the side of the road, but that’s the nature of a dhaba in this part of the country. We have plenty of space for parking and for people to stretch their legs. The village life in Dahar is quiet, but the road is always moving. We keep the stoves going pretty much all the time. It’s a basic place with sturdy tables and a simple roof. We don't worry about decorations. What matters is that the food is hot and ready when a driver pulls in late at night. We have seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Some stop for a quick tea while others sit down for a full meal before heading back onto the highway. The air smells like smoke and cooking most of the time. It’s a practical business for a practical location. We just keep doing the work, day in and day out. If you’re driving past the toll plaza, you’ll see our lights. We are just a regular roadside stop for anyone who needs a break from the road. We stay open late and get things done without making a fuss.
