Number 93 in Bhatia Colony is where you’ll find us. K. T. Textiles Pvt. Ltd. isn't a very large operation, but we stay busy. The colony is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down, though the machines can get a bit loud during the day. We have stacks of fabric sitting in the corners and the smell of thread and cloth is everywhere. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. My uncle started the place, and now there are a few of us keeping it going. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, we just pull it out from the shelves. The lighting in the back isn't the best, so we often take things near the front door to see the colors properly. We have a couple of guys who have been with us for twenty years. They know more about the business than anyone else. We spend a lot of our time making sure the orders are ready for pickup. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow streets of the colony, and we have to help guide it out. It’s just part of the day. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. We just focus on the cloth and the people who buy it from us. It's a simple life and we like the routine of the shop.
