DPS Panipat City

DPS Panipat City sits right on the 77 Milestone of the G T Road. Being on such a major highway means there is a constant sound of traffic in the distance, but the school grounds are big enough that it does not bother us too much. We see thousands of cars and trucks go by every single day. The yellow school buses are always lined up in the morning to bring in the kids from different parts of Panipat. It is a busy place, especially when the bell rings and hundreds of students spill out into the corridors. We have the usual stuff like a playground, some science labs, and a library that is actually quite quiet compared to the rest of the building. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and half-finished cups of tea. We do not try to act like we are some elite club. It is just a school where teachers try to get through the syllabus and kids try to pass their exams. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there is a school event or a heavy rain that floods the entrance. We just handle it as it comes. It is a practical, everyday sort of place. We have been here on the highway for a long time, and we have just become part of the Panipat landscape. We just do our best.
