Delhi Area Station Canteen

The Delhi Area Station Canteen sits over at T 6 4 No 4 Poultry Farm in Delhi Cantt 10. It’s a busy spot mostly. You’ll find us right near the poultry farm area which stays quite active from the early hours. We don’t have any of those shiny glass fronts or big signs that you see in the city malls. It is just a plain building where we keep things organized so people can get their supplies without a lot of fuss. Most mornings start with the sound of trucks unloading and the staff getting the shelves ready. We handle a lot of different items and it takes a bit of work to keep track of it all. People from around the Cantt area come in through the day. Sometimes the queue gets a bit long especially on weekends but we try to keep things moving. There is a lot of chatter usually and you get to know the faces of the regulars who’ve been coming here for years. It isn’t a glamorous job but it feels good to be part of the daily routine for so many families. We mostly just focus on the task at hand. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but for now the current setup works fine for everyone. We are just here doing our bit every day in this corner of Delhi. It stays pretty loud outside with the traffic and the local activity but inside we just keep on with the inventory.
